Cervical Cancer

We should be very very cautious daw on choosing our next bf. dapat daw kung pdeng ipatest muna namen na clear of STD or HPV, we should do it. kze daw guys of our age have had a vast experience in sexual activities na and with multiple partners pa. and kung makahanap pa daw kme ng virgin, much better..wahahaha..

1st point nya: guys can transmit the virus that causes cervical cancer without them knowing it. some HPV (human papilloma virus) that causes cervical cancer does not even show any symptoms, while some do. so kung ang lalaki daw eh super active sa sex with different partners, there is a very big possiblity na carrier na sila ng virus. and ang sistema is that walang epekto sa katawan ng guys ito. kumbaga, transmitter lng sila. ililipat lng nila sa girls ang virus through sexual activities.

2nd point: napunta sa love. kaya yung mga katulad daw nila ang hanapin namin. hehehe. dahil kung alam daw ng lalaki ang risk na binibigay nila sa partner nila once they do sex outside the relationship eh hindi nila gagawin yun. and i quote him "kaya yan si "asawa ko", if she would have it, wala akong ibang sisisihin kundi sarili ko. not unless magkakaaffair sya outside of our marriage."

3rd point: once na nadiagnose ito, usually any nasa worst stage na and nde na macucure. magaantay na lng talagang mamatay yung babae.

at nagblog pa po sya. here's an excerpt from his blog:

What Is Cervical Cancer?

Cervical cancer is a disease caused by the abnormal growth and division of cells that make up the cervix, which is the narrow, lower end of the uterus (womb).

Who Develops Cervical Cancer?
Cervical cancer is most often diagnosed in women who are between the ages of 50 and 55. Girls under age 15 rarely develop the disease, but the risk of cervical cancer does rise between the late teen years and the early 30's. In both white and black women, cervical carcinoma in situ (a benign tumor) is most common between the ages of 25 and 30.

What Causes Cervical Cancer? We don't know exactly what causes cervical cancer, but certain risk factors are believed to have an effect. Medical history and lifestyle - especially sexual habits - play a role in a woman's chances of developing cervical cancer.

and so i did a quick research about it sa mga Cosmopolitan magazines ko: here's what i got:

1 out of 3 Filipina die of Cervical Cancer
most of the victims die within the year after being diagnosed to have cervical cancer
women who are not yet doing any sexual activities are recommended to have the Vaccine against the HPV
woman who are already sexually active should have annual checkups for STD and HPV.

And i remember the story of my friend, whose a doctor now. Meron syang nakatrabahong doctor na namatay sa cervical cancer who was very close to her. That woman's lament was that she was a virgin nang makuha sha ng asawa nya na doctor din... sana daw nagpakasaya na lng sya ng sobra. she was definite kung kanino nya nakuha ang virus. and that made the husband so regretful.

Papa jeff's sermon was so scary. Sabihin daw namen sa mga boyfriend at asawa namen ito para matakot magloko. kung mahal daw talaga kame ng lalaki, they would not even dare to put us at risk. tama nga naman.

isa lang ang nacomment ko...kaya nga we should live our life to the fullest..everyday..find something to make you happy..and never ever fail to let those you love feel how much you care. we never know when it's too late to do it.
